Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Sailors Leave Permit portal at sailorsleavepermit.com. By accessing or using this portal, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the portal.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sailors Leave Permit portal ("the Portal"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

These terms apply to all users of the Portal, including sailors, their authorised representatives, and any individual accessing any part of this service.

2. Eligibility

Use of this Portal is restricted to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are a registered sailor employed by an LPG maritime transportation company.
  • Your personal details (name, email, Sailor ID) have been pre-registered in our system by your employer.
  • You are submitting a leave permit application on your own behalf or are a duly authorised representative.
  • You are at least 18 years of age.

Unauthorised use of this Portal, including attempting to access another individual's application or status, is strictly prohibited.

3. Use of the Portal

You agree to use the Portal solely for its intended purpose: the submission and tracking of official sailor leave permit applications. You agree that you will not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information during any stage of the application process.
  • Attempt to bypass, tamper with, or exploit any security measure, authentication system, or OTP process.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Portal.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any other user's application data or the administrative system.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation, performance, or integrity of the Portal or its servers.
  • Use the Portal for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

4. Leave Application Process

By submitting a leave permit application through this Portal, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All information you provide must be accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Applications are reviewed and decided upon by authorised maritime authority personnel.
  • Processing times are estimated at 24–48 business hours, though actual timelines may vary.
  • The maritime authority reserves the right to request additional documentation or information before making a decision.
  • You are responsible for monitoring your application status using the verification portal.

5. Accuracy of Information

You bear full responsibility for the accuracy of all information submitted. Providing false or fraudulent information, including but not limited to misrepresentation of SSN digits, Sailor ID, or employment status, may result in:

  • Immediate rejection or cancellation of your leave permit application.
  • Referral to your employer or relevant maritime authority for disciplinary action.
  • Permanent suspension of access to the Portal.
  • Potential legal consequences in accordance with applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Portal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the official seal, and software, is the exclusive property of Sailors Leave Permit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Portal without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Portal's availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sailors Leave Permit, its operators, administrators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Portal, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorised access, or delays in application processing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Washington, D.C.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Portal after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
